Article Abstract
A 50-year-old man with active histiocytic lymphoma for 12 years developed an isolated right trigeminal neuropathy.Initial evaluation with head computed tomography,X-rays of the skull base, bone scan, and cerebrospinal fluid analysis including cytology were normal.Gadolinium-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)showed enlargement of the proximal third of the right trigeminal nerve.Gadolinium-enhanced MRI can be useful for the early demonstration of cranial nerve invasion by lymphoma.
